Pop.store is part of CommentSold, AMerica’s #1 live selling SaaS platform and currently has over 50 people based out of India. 

 

Our ideal candidate is team-oriented, passionate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a US based company or client focusing on the US market. The Social Media Manager will help execute pop.store’s social media strategy across multiple platforms. This role requires a social-savvy storyteller with a proven ability to create engaging short-form video content, drive community engagement, and translate our brand voice into culturally relevant, creator-focused campaigns.

 

You will report to a Social Media Manager based in the US and work closely with the broader marketing team. 
Location: India Mumbai (preferred)/ Bangalore (optional)
Timing: 4:00PM to 1:00AM

In this role you will

Content Creation & Storytelling

  • Ideate and script high-quality, engaging social-first content (especially video formats like Reels, Shorts, TikToks).
  • Develop creative concepts and storytelling angles that resonate with creators and entrepreneurs
  • Added bonus if you can edit and repurpose content for different platforms with a deep understanding of trends, formats, and algorithms.

Social Strategy & Execution

  • Manage pop.store’s presence across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, X, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with product launches, campaigns, and creator stories.
  • Optimize content for reach, engagement, and follower growth.

Community Building

  • Engage with creators, followers, and brand advocates to build a strong, authentic community.
  • Respond to comments, DMs, and creator conversations in a way that reflects pop.store’s brand voice.

Trendspotting & Insights

  • Stay on top of social trends, emerging platforms, and creator-led storytelling.
  • Monitor performance analytics and translate insights into content and engagement strategies.

    If you’re right for this role, you:
  • Have 3+ years of experience in social media marketing; ideally with a focus on creator-led platforms, B2C companies, brands or consumer startups.
  • Have experience managing organic social media campaigns and creating content across various social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Proven ability to grow social channels and foster community engagement, developed creative concepts and storytelling angles that resonate with target audience
  • Excellent communication skills with a knack for translating brand messaging into authentic social moments.
  • Deep understanding of creator economy culture and storytelling that resonates with creators. 
  • Self-starter, creative thinker, and culturally plugged into US social trends.
  • Have experience with social analytics and reporting across all platforms
  • Have experience with content editing platforms such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Express
